My sources of inspiration:

The inspiration for my paintings comes from nature and various experiences from my everyday life. My paintings are full of colours, because the colours of the sky and the sea are the genuine colours and they inspire me and give me creative ideas. The sky and the sea has a play of colours that makes my spirits rise. When I’m feeling good about myself, it’s good to get the positive thoughts and ideas projected to the canvas. I have a dog, that I take out a lot, regardless of how the weather might be. For that reason the forest and the beach are very important elements in my life. The many nature territories in Denmark makes it possible for me to be alone with my thoughts and feelings. Even though I’m in a wheelchair, I have as rich a life as everybody else. I have learned to appreciate even the very small things, and for that reason I’m getting the best out of my life.
